I was so amazed to receive bro YongDe's sharing through SMS when I was thinking of a verse for this cake that I've designed for Mike and his colleagues. How appropriate!

"If you notice the chinese word 'FU' (blessing) actually contains 'YI' (clothing) and 'YI-KOU-TIAN' (a meal of grain). GOD is saying to us to be contented is a blessing. Let me share a scripture . 1 Tim 6:6-8

6.Now godliness with contentment is great gain. 7.For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.

Verse 8 is talking about 'FU' (blessing), what a relevation!, I didn't know it would lead me to this verse. Praise the LORD."

Zion's Disney Car theme cake

This cake was specially designed for my church friend Daniel Tang's youngest son - Zion's 4th birthday for their small family celebration today.

Megan told me that Zions' new fav car character is Secret Agent other than Lightning McQueen, hence I had to google search for it and tried my best to mould it .. and was glad that the little birthday boy loves it :D Blessed Birthday Zion!!!

This cake picture was long overdued since Jan 2 but just couldn't find back those kind of passion to share almost immediately after cake being collected :)

I was so happy to see Ee Han's email last year that she wanted to have a cake to celebrate their 2nd child - Wen Ning's 1st Birthday. I did a cake for her darling Le Yang in 2009 and was glad that they've added a new member to their lovely family :)

Ee Han left the design to me but just need 3 basic items as little Wen Ning likes likes fumbling with balloons, keys and her milk bottle. I was very happy that they loved the cake !!!

Baked and decorated this cake for Mike to bless 3 of their prayer group members in office about 3 weeks ago.

Mike suggested to have 3 wise men as the theme since it's near Christmas and they are celebrating Alfred, Richard & Andrew's birthday together.

My mind and mood was totally switched off .. only started to mould the figurines and decorating it at around 4pm on that day .. but thank God that I managed to finish it at about 10pm :D

My hubby - Mike's colleague - sis Jo and her family with her eldest sis came to our house for a prayer meeting/fellowship last friday, we happened to know that Jerome's birthday is near and Mike told him that I will be able to bless him with a cake since I've stopped taking orders tentatively :)

After knowing the theme that he wanted, I had to do research on soccer cakes and decided to make a soccer shoe with a ball .. this is another challenging theme for me because ... I don't like soccer .. hahahahahaha

I remembered making little Sara's birthday cake which Mummy Lin Min specially requested that all the animals must be in 3's.

Her 2nd order was for baby Gavin & Jie2 Megan's combined birthday celebration, I will also need to make all sea creatures in 3's .

Lin Min is very very forgiving and I'm so thankful to her graciousness to accept my silly mistake made .. I've mixed up Megan & Gavin's age, not sure what happened to me, but I must be too happy that my orders for this year were almost fulfilled .. no time to re-take pictures as I had to swop both Number candles on the spot and 'glued' back to dropped panel with part of Gavin's name on it .. I guess it was due to the extremely wet weather that day.

Lin Min left the design totally to me and was glad that she likes them .. it took me the whole day just to carve and decorate both cakes, could be able to complete earlier but again .. I have to blame the weather :D

I enjoyed making Lin Kwee's MIL's cake and was so happy that this time was for her darling Oliver's 4th Birthday cake .. she told me that 'Leo' is his favourite character in Little Einstein, so requested to have him to be the biggest among the 4 of them.

Sunita is back to order Ansh's 2nd Birthday cake and this time she wanted his cake to be something similar to Randall's design , but requested to change the fence on the top tier to balloons.

I changed the design slightly to include some gift boxes to make it to have more birthday celebration feel, left a space in the centre of the top tier for her to put the McQueen candle on it , was so happy that she liked the design :)

We wanted to bless sis Joan before her trip back to the USA to visit her family so decided to bake for her and Ps. Tim their favourite Durian Cake for our cell group meeting last Thursday.

Initially I just want to bake a very very simple 8" round cake, but Mike called home from office suggested to have a National Day theme cake to celebrate Singapore's 46th birthday to thank God for His blessings upon our nation. , so need to do last minute changes and came out with this very simple design.

This was a Durian Chiffon with rich Durian Cream .. I only make cream cakes for families, cell group meetings and very close friends :)

Bible scripture cake

Specially baked this cake to bless our dearest sis Angel's little darling Ezekiel that Mike and I love very much too.

Angel's idea is to have Psalm 23 'The Lord is my shepherd ... ' . She read to Ezekiel everyday since he was in her womb and felt that he is familiar with it as he will smile every time she read to him again and again :)

So I designed the cake based on the picture she sent to me via email and made a book with the scripture and figurines and was so glad that it was very well received.

Little darling Ezekiel .. may the Lord bless you abundantly with HIS love and grant you His grace and blessing all the days of your life .. Amen!

I was quite stressful when Ps. Deborah asked if I could make a transformer cake for bro Allan, they held a surprise party for him as he loves surprises .. what a cute big boy ! haaaaaa ...

I didn't have much time to mould a transformer as I'm really no good in moulding such themes too .. so attempt to carve him but was not successful as I should have make the base of the legs broader but forgotten .. I just let it stand there to see if it can hold there for several hours but finally it collapsed!

I left with no choice as it was quite late and decided to bake new batches of cakes and worked till quite late at night and woke up very very early in the morning to rush on this cake design instead, but the effort paid off as our dear bro Allan loves it, Ps Deborah was happy with it too .. Thank you Lord for the strength that You've given me thoughout, AMEN!

Janice is another sweet one whom loves to give me challenges again .. haaaaaa ... this year .. she wanted Dora!!! Oh my! I told her that Dora isn't really easy to mould ( at least to me ) .. but love to accept it although she again gave me a list of requirements including specific colours but she gave me no stress to do the cake for her.

I was glad that she loves the design and didn't complain how Dora looks .. but I had still overlooked on 2 of her requests (1) to have 3D standing name and (2) 'Happy Birthday' wording, despite reading through her email but was so thankful that she didn't mind about that :) Thanks so much Janice!

It was so fun working on this cute jungle theme, William didn't really restrict me in the design but just wanted to have a cheerful & playful jungle theme that include a Baby playing with Tigger, a Lion and Monkey and left the rest of the animals to me to fit into the cake to be something similar to this design.

I was sick since early this week and really need to thank our Lord Jesus for strengthening me throughout the week that I could fulfill all the orders. :D

Regina passed me these Ice Age plastic figurines and required me to mould only that 2 cute baby dinos .. and also leave the design either to be ice age or the dinosaur land theme, I was so happy to know that little Caylyne and her classmates like the cake and design :)

Smurfs are cute !!! .. I love them the moment I saw them when Jennifer passed the figurines to me for her little Javier's 1st Birthday cake. She wanted to have a Smurf Village theme so I created a mini farm with some mushroom houses .. hope that she and her family will like it :D

I remember that Ps. Deb loves cookie monster, hence this year I made a sweet Japanese bible with 2 cookie monsters - 1 hiding under the 'cloth' while another behind the book and peeping when he was eating his cookies .. but Mike told me that he was still 'caught' by Allan and he snatched 1 of C.M's cookies .. hahahahaha ..

So happy to see Ivel's email again, this time was to do a cake for her 2nd gal - Kyenne's 1st Birthday .. she told me that little Kyenne loves froggies which she doesn't understand why .. haaa.. however, do find that frogs are cute too :)

A simple and elegant cake is what mummy Winnie wanted for her precious little darling Ezekie's 1st Birthday cake :), not too easy for me to think of the design because other than making it look elegant, I have to put in cute items that suits a 1 year old baby theme.

However, it paid off when seeing Winnie's smile on her face that she likes the cake design :D

I asked my youngest sis dearest .. what does Marcus like to have for his birthday cake? She told me that he likes Pokemon, Panda, Tranasformer ... etc which I can't remember :)

Initially wanted to make pandas for him, but .. oh my! our darling is already 18 this year, so I can't make something too childish for him, so decided to try out Transformer .. but I don't think I have the skill to make a 3D robot, so hahahahaha ... the transformed truck is a better option.

I've hesitated for a while before decided to give it another try because the little boy was admitted to hospital under treatment for pneumonia, hope that this little cute version of Ultraman will be able to put a smile on his face :)

I am really no good in making any superhero or related theme, done a spiderman theme before and really freaked me out.

Janice emailed to request a basketball & bicycle theme cake for her brother's 21st year old cake, this was meant to be a surprise cake for him :D

I was having so much difficulty in making the bicycle and it actually took me the whole night
to get it right, I nearly had a heart attack when the front part fell off after I've taken the picture .. but thank God that they were able to stick back and reached the venue safetly after Janice came to collect it :D

I was even more happy to know that Mervyn had a very nice and pleasant surprise when he saw the cake, thanks so much to Jance for the extremely sweet and nice feedback on the cake that she and the guests all loved it :D

I was supposed to decorate a very simple cake for my youngest son's classmate, he called me to place the order with a very very simple request to have only his name and "Happy Birthday" wordings on the cake because he was given a very low budget by his mum over the phone :)

My dearest boy said to me, " Mum, make him a hp cake, Bing Quan is obsessed with all types of android phones" ... I was like "Ah!!? .. my dear boy, the cake will cost more than what his mum will be paying"

However, in order to see the sweet smile on his face, I went to do a google search to find the simplest design that I will be able to make within short time frame and done a simple design cake for his good friend - Bing Quan :D

This was a very very last min order from my dearest youngest brother-in-law - David, his buddy had almost forgotten that he promised 2 of his staffs that he will get them a cake to celebrate their birthdays, usually I don't accept last min orders but will always try my best not to dissapoint him and my dearest sis .. so I gladly accepted to help him :)

Angel is Snow Prince's wife and I've again accepted this 'exceptional' request because of Kim whom had been ordering cakes for her precious six since 2 years ago .. I saw how she loves her 6 precious 'kids' and how well behaved are they that made her to be such a proud 'mummy' to them .

She wanted to have a 'wardrobe theme' as Angel has a better wardrobe than Kim does because she did Doggie Modelling before.

According to Kim, Angel is such a fabulous mommy that her dedication to her 4 babies who are all so grown up now always just touches her, so she wanted the wording ' Little Super Mommy' to be placed on the cake board.

It was a very last minute notice given to make a cake for my mil's birthday celebration, miscommunication between the cousins .. but thank God that I've managed to complete it.

My 2nd boy - Aloysius suggested to make a noodle bowl so I went to do a google search and found a cake design which looks so fun to make, my youngest boy Aleo came to me and asked if I need his help, so I asked if he could help me to make the carrots, spring onions and egg? He said, no problem .. leave it to me .. haaaaaa .. his work is not too bad hor! heeeeeee It is such a blessing to be able to bake and design/decorate something that make the families happy, and I enjoyed the process throughout the night and especially love to see how they love the cake. Praise GOD !!!
