Jerome's soccer theme cake

My hubby - Mike's colleague - sis Jo and her family with her eldest sis came to our house for a prayer meeting/fellowship last friday, we happened to know that Jerome's birthday is near and Mike told him that I will be able to bless him with a cake since I've stopped taking orders tentatively :)

After knowing the theme that he wanted, I had to do research on soccer cakes and decided to make a soccer shoe with a ball .. this is another challenging theme for me because ... I don't like soccer .. hahahahahaha

Basketball & Bicycle theme cake

Janice emailed to request a basketball & bicycle theme cake for her brother's 21st year old cake, this was meant to be a surprise cake for him :D

I was having so much difficulty in making the bicycle and it actually took me the whole night
to get it right, I nearly had a heart attack when the front part fell off after I've taken the picture .. but thank God that they were able to stick back and reached the venue safetly after Janice came to collect it :D

I was even more happy to know that Mervyn had a very nice and pleasant surprise when he saw the cake, thanks so much to Jance for the extremely sweet and nice feedback on the cake that she and the guests all loved it :D

YEAH!!!! This should be my last cake order for this year and I can have a good rest in Dec .. hahahahhaha .. so I can start to bake bread for my mil which she missed them for .. 2 years? and my little Aleo will start to ask me to cook yummies for him :D :D :D

I should have rested yesterday but I couldn't reject Ko Chen as this will be her 3rd cake order for this year whom had been supporting me and she has always been such a nice lady.

She requested to have a small soccer theme cake for her brother whom is a hardcore Liverpool fan, the cake should be presented to him by little Natalie .. so she requested to put Happy Birthday Jiu Jiu (uncle) :D

Golf Cake

My church friend - Angie ordered this cake for their boss' birthday, she wanted to collect it today ( Tuesday ), when she called me yesterday to confirm the order .. she also showed me the cake design that they wanted.

Initial design was a big golf ball sitting on the patch of grass , and the wordings were on the right side on cake surface, after showing 3 cake photo designs which I saw on the net, they wanted the golf ball to be replaced by the half-sized golf bag.

I made some alterations .. and while I was doing some final touch up on the cake this morning, Mike suddenly came out from the prayer room and told me that he felt that the Lord wanted him to tell me to add a score card with the birthday recipient's age and the flag with '18' - the pole is actually a candle :D ..,
