Flower Pot

I'm not a flower person, neither do I like to make gumpaste flowers for my cakes, but simply don't wish to disappoint Aloy's buddy Shawn who wanted a Sunflower theme cake for his girlfriend.

I have tried my best...so glad that they liked it :P

Xue Mei's 18th birthday cake

My sweetie Xue turned 18 and I was so happy to be able to bake and design a cake specially to bless her on that day because she is so so so special  , she requested for the colour theme to be Red, Black, Gold & White with a touch of Oriental feel .. 

She happily collected it in the afternoon, but cake horror began ... received call from Xue that the No. "1" cracked, the melting black and red fondant, cracks appearing! The Wilton fondant yielded to the highly humid weather! I knew that my sweetie was very stressed and upset so I asked Mike to pick up the cake and bring back so that I might salvage it ( It was already nearly 5pm). .. We took down and peeled off the fondant from the 3 cakes, clean up all the melted mess and covered with new fondant to give it a new look 

PRAISE THE LORD!!! 

MY SWEETIE FINALLY ABLE TO CELEBRATE HER 18TH BIRTHDAY WITH A CAKE! I was so pleased with the totally different look and surprised myself to have it done within 2 1/2 hour .. of course, with the help from my dearest dear2

1st Anniversary Cake for Japanese Fellowship

The Cornerstone Japanese Fellowship was launched in April 2008, Mike asked me to bake a cake to mark it's First Anniversay.

He gave me the theme of Japanese men and women coming together to fellowship, to hear the word of God and know that there are people in this country who cares for their well beings. What could be better than seeing them on their kneess, feeding on the Word of God back in their land surrounded by cherry blossoms.

A birthday cake for Carol

It's my sons' dearest godma's birthday today .. I've made a cake for her to celebrate with her dearest hubby .. her favourite colour is green and she loves flowers .., this is different from the flower cake that I baked for her last year .

I said a birthday prayer for my dearest Carol and asked the Lord to bless this wonderful occasion with love and happiness., I prayed for you to have a year of great dreams coming true .. Amen!

It's a small 4" Low Fat Coffee Yoghurt Butter Cake, since she is trying to reduce some weight before CNY - then she can eat without much guilt .. hahahahaha :D

Flower Garden

Sann saw the Spot in the Garden that I made for little Sophie, she attended her birthday party and loved the cake .. she emailed the plates that she bought for the party and asked if I could make the butterfly, flower to put on the cake .., I guess shouldn't be a problem , so I tried my best to make them to look alike. .:D

Feel a bit sorry for mil, wanted to make a nice one, but I don't think I have the time .. so when I saw this cake photo, I feel that it should be quite easy, but it isn't lor .. heeeeeeeeeee , just hope that I will have a good knife to carve the sides of the cake .. it's for her birthday celebration tomorrow .. hope that she will like it .. :D I've made 2 x 6" round cake to stack them up, it's cherry yoghurt butter cake ..

A cake for my buddy

Baked this fruit cake for my buddy - Carol, she is also my 3 boys' godma, she loves my boys at lot .. so I made this cake for her with all my love too! But hor!, no experience in drawing royal icing lines ... hands not steady and was shaking .. so the lines were all not straight ..hahaha



This is Carol - one of my dearest buddies .. so far, I only have 3 buddies whom always at my side .. with Alex and my two darlings .. errrrrrrrrrrrrr .. where is the cake ?? haha, she brought home to celebrate with her parents and little nephew, will wait for her to send the photo to me, and I will post again .. , so I made these 2 mini fruitcake cuppies .. just for the boys to bless her and sing the song for her .., Aleo had been waited to celebrate with her ..

It's Katini's Birthday today, so wanted to make her a cake which looks elegant as she is a more 'serious' lady .. hahaha !! no lah , just feel that she suits this design .. heeeeeee

It's made of mochoa coffee sponge with chocolate fresh cream, used fruit jam to wrap the cake before layered with the white sugar paste, hope that it wouldn't melt before she sees it..
