Hong2's Bumblebee transformer car

My dearest buddy - Carol's sister wanted to get her son to celebrate with his little friends and their family on his 5th Birthday .. He loves transformers very much, especially bumblebee .. I was again ... freaking out when she told me about his choice for this year's cake ... hahahahahaha

Carol knows me very well that I don't like to mould these robots, so she asked her sis to buy these little toys for me to put them on little Hong2's cake, after looking at them, I told Carol that I might carve the cake into one of the toy car's design and was glad that he likes it .. so are the guests!!!

Transformer theme

I was quite stressful when Ps. Deborah asked if I could make a transformer cake for bro Allan, they held a surprise party for him as he loves surprises .. what a cute big boy ! haaaaaa ...

I didn't have much time to mould a transformer as I'm really no good in moulding such themes too .. so attempt to carve him but was not successful as I should have make the base of the legs broader but forgotten .. I just let it stand there to see if it can hold there for several hours but finally it collapsed!

I left with no choice as it was quite late and decided to bake new batches of cakes and worked till quite late at night and woke up very very early in the morning to rush on this cake design instead, but the effort paid off as our dear bro Allan loves it, Ps Deborah was happy with it too .. Thank you Lord for the strength that You've given me thoughout, AMEN!

Transformer Optimus Prime

I asked my youngest sis dearest .. what does Marcus like to have for his birthday cake? She told me that he likes Pokemon, Panda, Tranasformer ... etc which I can't remember :)

Initially wanted to make pandas for him, but .. oh my! our darling is already 18 this year, so I can't make something too childish for him, so decided to try out Transformer .. but I don't think I have the skill to make a 3D robot, so hahahahaha ... the transformed truck is a better option.

Transformer Cake

When April told me that she wanted to have a Transformer theme - Optimus Prime & Bumblebee for Keane & Kaeus' combined birthday, I was 'errrrrrrrrrr ... Oh No!!! Not transformer !!!' ... hahahahahaha .. seriously, I am really weak in moulding figurines for any super heros or robot related theme, so I told April that I have no confidence in making them and she gladly allowed to give me time to try on them before committing.

April is really kind and nice to even give me an alternative to make the Bumblebee into car form when I emailed to her that I was having problem when I tried to make it., I tried making it but it really looked funny during my 1st attempt, in order not to disappoint her and our birthday boys ..

I've decided to try again but got to seek help from my buddy as my internet was down for the past few days, she emailed several pictures of the Bumblebee as it was her nephew's favourite characters at the moment .. and finally I was quite pleased with how it turned out, although not as nice but still .. I was glad that we didn't have to fall back to Keane's another favourite theme - Army which I made for his 4th birthday cake last year :D
