Little Kylan's Thomas on No. 1 cake

I was so happy to be able to bake and decorate this cake for Linda's little darling - Kylan because they are back to Singapore from Dubai to celebrate his 1st birthday with their family :D

Linda likes this cake design but wanted only Thomas and a toy giraffe on the NO. 1 cake :)

I was so glad that she and her family likes the cake.

Spiderman Cake

I guess .. this is so far, the most difficult cake I've made - it really not easy to do superhero theme cake .. hmmmmmm , I could have done better .. but now really exhausted ..

Hmm .. my heart nearly dropped when I delivered the cake, the spiderman fell off and was beyond repair, just when I reached the floor that Cynthia stayed .. no choice but to put one of the cars on that position .. :(





The top tower cake is Orange Walnut Carrot Cake,
Middle building is Soft Moist Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Fudge
Bottom layer is Yoghurt Dried Fruit Butter Cake.

However, still hope that the little bday boy is satisfied with it .. Praise God!

I don't have a bootie cutter, so just look at the photo and draw the template out .. not too close to the bootie i saw , but quite close .. will practise more ..

Pooh & Frenz

I have this order requested for Pooh theme which I love to make for quite some time, but Aloy and Aleo don't like these cutey cartoon figurines.

Got to make in advance as the mood was right, otherwise I don't think I could do them if it is too rushing .. ;)

My First ever Baking Class - For KIDS!

Yes, I've finally completed the Gingerbread Man Class for my church's Christmas event on Friday. Not so nervous as I've prayed for our Lord to bless me during the class, and everything went so smoothly.

There were actually 17 kids but 5 of them didn't turn up, although there are a minority of them is very chatty .. but still, not too difficult to handle :D

Overall, they were excited to see how the GBM was done from beginning to icing, the most excited part was nonetheless - ICING! hahaha ..

My camera battery went flat, so Aloysius was not able to take the pictures of my little students' work, will try to get some from sis Wai Leng.

Gingerbread Boys & Girls!

Love these little gm boys & gals .., the texture was very nice, soft though .. I've never eat gbm before but this is a very nice recipe .. Got to learn to do them as Pastor Sharon asked if I could take over to conduct the class for Christmas for little kids.

I was skeptical at first but agreed to teach as it will be fun to teach little children .. not sure if I will panic in the class .. hahaha

My dearest youngest sis just uploaded the photos with the cakes that I made for them .. hmmmmmm .., happy looking indeed .. ha ha ha ! They are happy, and Praise the Lord!

David's Topper

Finally done .., but the car doesn't resemble his Nissan Sylphy .. it was my 2nd car, hmmmm .. but with the final touch up ., hopefully my dearest brother-in-law will like . yippeeeeeeeeee

Sis - the 'Sew' Chef

I've made a new 'sis', the old one 'put on weight' .. hahaha !! the back of the dress split .., and the figurine really look fat .. Aloysius and Aleo did commented, "Why our Aunt is so fat? She is not that fat, mummmy!" .. but if anyone could have noticed - the bite on the hamburger .. !!! It was Aleo's idea to let his Aunt to have a hamburger while resting .. because he loves burger .. hahaha

I guess they must feel Sis' hurting if she sees the fat lady .. after much thought, I know that I should make a slimmer Sis .., and in a chef outfit as she cooks so well .. and her sewing skill is as good as her cooking's .. now, just hope that the cake that I will be making for her is just as nice too! Praise the Lord!

Victoria Sponge Strawberry Jam

I made this sponge, it is very soft and moist, as I am not a 'Cake Person', so need to ask my 2 darlings to give opinion, Aloysius said it was very soft and nice, but he doesn't like the jam, said that its to sourish sweet.

TIRAMISU

This is a very nice recipe, but I've forgotten to half the recipe on the cream, it's toooooo sweet to my liking ., but overall taste, it's really nice ..

Donuts again!

Just bought white chocolate to do the frosting, but do not like the taste, I guess I will still use normal Icing sugar will do .. :(

Mae's topper

Oh, my dearest sis .. I've actually made the toilet bowl for her, but after seeing the sewing machine theme I made for my SIL, she wanted me to change the theme for her .. what to do??? Of course not a problem, but her birthday is on Thursday, I need to rush my production . hahaha!!

Mae is a washing mania .. so I came out with this theme for her, she couldn't stand unwashed clothings and her washing machine is always very busy !! HAHA HA HA HA

Topper - mini sewing machine

I saw this was made into a cake, but I would want it to be mini .. will want to make a basket to fill up with cloth / threads .. as suggested by Aleo for one of his dearest Aunt, Mike's eldest sis .., he wanted me to make a bottle of 'Axe' Medicated Oil too .. because during he & Aloysius' stay in her house when I need to attend to my darling Andre .., he noticed that she always use it to rub on her nose .., now wondering .. how to make ?? :P



Made the weaved basket with barang as suggested by Aleo .. he is pleased with it ..hahaha

DONE ! Sis relaxing while making a quilt .. hahaha, Aleo wanted her to have a cuppa drink and hamburger .., but I've yet to make a bottle of 'Axe' brand medicated oil leh ..

Made my dearest youngest sis to 'own' her toilet bowl .. hahaha .. initially made a humourious one, based on Aleo's expression to give a 'push' effect ., but she doesn't want a sour look on her birthday ., so got to make her another 'head' .. a prettier one .. heeeeeeeee
