Baked this lemon butter cake to celebrate the October birthday of Mike's altar team members, Alvin (attended wedding in HK; not back in time) & Elijah. The theme was the kingdom of God, so I chose the bible verse in Matthew 6:33. Blessed birthday Alvin & Elijah!

Bible Book Cover - Colossians 3:14
Baked a Gula Melaka Buttercake for Mike's Altar Ministry member XingJuan's birthday celebration. I've chosen the verse from Colossians 3:14 to exhort the members on the need to put on love and it was timely as Ps Yang preached on "The Red Thread of Violence" calling us to avail ourselves to prayer, to give to missions and to be sent to help the persecuted!
The rainbow agar2 cake was made with excess coconut milk to bless our cell member Jenny who is also serving on the altar team, but of course ...we cut it to share with the rest before keeping some for her to bring home to enjoy
Daniel in the Lion Den
Sister Kum Angel asked for the theme on Daniel in the lion den to celebrate Ezekiel's birthday. He was supposed to celebrate in class but due to stomach flu, it did not take place. Smiling as he mimicked Daniel by lifting his hands in prayer - the next generation of prayer warriors! Wow!
Precious Moment Cake
Baked the birthday cake to bless sweet Rachel and decorated with the Precious Moments figurines provided by sister Audrey Yew. Her sparkling smile said it all and I am so glad!
Minecraft Cake
Minecraft cake ~. This is not an easy theme .. I remembered spending many hours to colour and cut out those squares and then positioning them randomly yet neatly. So glad that customer liked it.

Bible Book Cover Cake
Angie Koh wanted something special for her dearest hubby on his 40th birthday .. she had been thinking on the theme for quite some time .. I guess 
😄
This is what she wanted : "A bible as the main piece and 4 men mentioned in the bible that have the number 40 associated with them:
- moses : the man who lived 40 years in Egypt and 40 years in the dessert. And he spent 40 days and nights at Mount Sinai & the 1st 3 kings of Israel:
- Saul
- David
- Solomon
Saul, David and Solomon each rule the kingdom for 40 years.
She considered the first 40 years of her hubby's life, going thru trials and tests which she drew reference to our Lord Jesus who was tempted for 40 days and 40 nights by Satan. May God bless him & bring him to a higher level in his life so that he could go forth to bless others. Like the need to be spiritually filled like Mary who sat at the foot of Jesus and listen to Him before we can be like Martha, serving the people around her."
They took me many hours to mould but thank God who enabled me to make them despite the nagging pain that kept bothering me on my left shoulder blade, and I can even finished decorating another cake (almost...) for Mike's Altar Ministry member's b'day celebration for tmr.

My church friend Susan asked if I could bake a "80" theme cake for her dad's birthday celebration last nite. She wanted something not so traditional but with a bit of traditional feel ... so knowing that her dad is attending our Chinese congregation , I've decided to make a No. 8 in the form of a bible cover and a Longevity Bun as the No. 0. Her dad likes to eat, so I made him a bowl of longevity noodle and chose a Bible Verse from 1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, 約翰一書 3:1 " 你看父賜給我們是何等的慈愛 ... " Bookmark is a "寿" Blessed Birthday Uncle :D
Flower Pot
I'm not a flower person, neither do I like to make gumpaste flowers for my cakes, but simply don't wish to disappoint Aloy's buddy Shawn who wanted a Sunflower theme cake for his girlfriend.

Bible Book Cover - Our Daily Bread
Baked this cake for my 2 sis-in-law Jenny & Grace's birthday last week, their birthdays are just 2 days apart.
I chose this theme "Our Daily Bread" to encourage my SIL Jenny to have a deeper relationship with our Lord Jesus... Praise God as she has just accepted Christ @ Cornerstone CNY Outreach.

Car Tyre & Tools Cake
Sis Geraldine wanted a cake to bless her husband Peter on his 60th birthday. Knowing that he has been in motor workshop business & now seeking ways to the Lord, I selected a verse in Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me:.
His favourite car is BMW so I made a tyre & a tool box bible cover design to represent his profession.

The FM members want to celebrate his victory over the illness by celebrating his birthday with a prophetic basketball theme cake - declaration that he will play again.
I chose a verse from 1 Corinthians15:57 "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Star Wars - Millennium Falcon
When Hannah Wei Wei Garcia asked if I could make a Star War theme cake for Joshua's birthday cake to celebrate at school, I was .. "hmmmm" .. ok, which character? When she finally came back to confirm it's a Millennium Falcon .. I was again "hmmmm..." ok.
Hahahaha .. that's because I am really not good in doing sci-fi kind of theme cakes, so I quickly did a google search for it and nearly faint when I saw the spacecraft .. I've never watch any Star Wars movie before, so I told her I will make a simple version as the cake was rather small ( about 5" round only ), it's not easy to make such small cake with so many details.
I've tried my best and hope that little Joshua likes it.:D

This cake was made last week upon request from May Senior to bless Ps Sharon at Sunday School with the kids.
The verse from Psalm 23:1 & 5 was given by Ps Wai Leng .. "The Lord is my Shepherd, I have all I need" "You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings."
I made a bible cover with a cute girl's face and a staff-like cup handle as the Shepherd, the "flock of sheep" will be all those Blessing bubbles overflowing from the cup .. all based on her illustration of a flock of sheep with a shepherd for the inspiration on the bible book design.

Baked a little bible cake to bless my dearest niece, Cynthia Ow who helped to train nurses to meet the growing needs in Singapore hospitals; she has such gentleness & compassion, always willing to listen, to help and care for others so I chose the verse in Psalms 147:3 and the "plaster" bible cover theme for the cake.

I chose this unconventional theme for a cake design - it look gross and not many people would want it for their b'day celebration. I'm glad that the b'day girl, Wee Leng liked the cake and the verse selected that proclaimed that our Lord Jesus Christ suffered for our salvation and healing. Initially, the design was just a wood grain bible cover with a nail and the scripture but based on suggestions of Mike & Aleo, it was changed to show the stripes & blood effect.
Flavour of the cake was Banana Cinnamon Cake.— with Michael Chan.

I baked a Devil's Food cake and used a 8" square cake to carve this 2D Peppa Pig design, as requested by Michelle Choa's colleague to celebrate her daughter's birthday.
Earth, Grandpa & Grand-daughter
Little Audrey also celebrating her birthday with YeYe 1 week later, they wish to share God's word to him .. so design will not be too bold but His message was in the little book that Audrey was holding. :D

Baked this bible cake with Samsung phone call screen as cover for Mike's altar team to bless him on his birthday (Jan. 2016)...but not before he spent about 2 hours to meticulously paint the details of the numbers, symbols, hahaha.
I baked his favourite moist carrot cake with toasted macadamia nuts and so glad that all loved it :D — with Robert Lim, Angelina Loh, Lim Ing Cheong Sean, Michael Chan, Narin Tang, Jade Shen, Angel Toh-Tay and Karen CQuek.

A very last min request for a 1 yr old Birthday cake .. was really exhausted but thankfully she agreed to have a simple design with no promise to mold any figurines but just don't wish to disappoint her so made one at the very last minute. Glad that she liked it!

Selected the theme of Psalms 24:7, not knowing that Ps Yang would speak on entering His gates with praise and the invitation to open the doors of our hearts to receive the King of glory. Wow!
The flavour of the season, Fruit Cake was enjoyed by everyone.
