My buddy dearest's birthday cake

Carol is my buddy dearest and loved my 3 boys very much, hence I couldn't missed making a cake for her every year even if I am very busy :)

I was glad that she and her family loved the cake.

Previn is our dearest friend - Angie and Daniel's youngest son from our church, this boy tends to give me funny ideas and this is one of the best one that he gave me so far which I really enjoyed making it .. hahahahaha.. Blessed Birthday Previn dear :D

Little Daniel's toy tool box & train

I was so glad to see Shi Yang's email again but this time is for their 2nd son's 1st birthday cake, he had no idea what the theme will be but just emailed 2 of little Daniel's favourite toys and hope that I could work out a design specially for him.

This was an outstanding order which I'd agreed to accept last year.

Mango Yoghurt Cake

SIL Carol initially didn't want me to bake any cakes for her hubby and 2 sons' + my youngest sis' galfriend, it was because I didn't attend the family's Mother's Day celebration as I had a headache that night .. I didn't have enough sleep.

I told her that I will be able to bake but she requested for simple decorations so they the cake won't tired me off :D, so sweet of her.

So, I made this non-bake cake with lots of fruits on top .. very easy hor? hahahahaha .. actually didn't want to make any sugar decor, but I guess it's just us ... still can't stop my fingers to make icons for the 4 birthday 'babies'.

This is another very nice cake , it was a 8.5" cake and was finished, even MIL also had a 2nd helping .. :D :D :D

A simple mango crepe cake for Mike's colleague

My hubby told me that they will be celebrating Geraldine ( one of his prayer group members in office ) and asked if I have time to bake one for her. I will as usual, try my best to bake so as to bless them with a joyful heart :D

I guess I'll have to seriously record down birthdays for his prayer group colleagues and reserve my dates for them and our cell members, so that I will not take in orders during those dates ..hahahaha, otherwise I will end up searching for simple cake recipes.

Thanks to Mok for this wonderful recipe, though more work but I had so much fun in making them and there were so many compliments from them :D , even my boys love them so much .. may make mango crepe rolls for my Aleo's cell group meeting this friday .. hahahahaha , the kids will like them.

A simple cake with bun people for my mil

I didn't make any elaborate design for mil this year, because I had 2 orders were either postponed or brought forwarded .. and mil's birthday celebration should be the week before, but it clashed with sil's mother's birthday .. so she wanted it to be held 1 day after her actual birthday.

I didn't have much time to do a nicer design, but thank God that I saw HHB's recent bakes - fruit pastry cake!! and i like the simple fruit arrangement and thought that this cake should be good for mil as the fruits that I put on top were blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and peaches ...

So, instead of just having a plain design .. I made 'longevity bun people' .. the bigger one represented mil and 10 little people were all her grandchildren ( and of course .. my darling Andre must be included ), some of our nephews and nieces were attached so the family is really growing .. however, the little girl in the photo was not mil's grandchild, she is a granddaughter of my mil's closest friend - Auntie Mui's.

A sweet pink & white cake for little Charlene

Chwee Ling is back again for her little gal's birthday cake, Charlene is 7 year old this year.

Charlene decided the cake theme for her little brother Nat's 1st Birthday cake and mummy requested to have a white & pink theme cake for her and leave the design to me :D

House Blessing theme

When Evelyne emailed to me last September to request for a house blessing theme with some of the bible characters to represent her hubby and 3 kids, I was pretty excited in moulding them. However, it took me almost half a morning to complete Joshua .. but the rest came quite easily after that :)

Then, it again took me more than 12 hours to finish baking/decorating the whole cake ... Eve requested to have sweet pastel colours and I just kept staring at it as to try to make it sweet looking and yet to bring out the theme as requested :D

Toadstool Village for Ping

My dearest sis requested me to bake and decorate a cake for her sweet colleague, my schedule this week was another busy one .. but again - she is another person whom I will try to do things for her as she is so dear to me :D , so when she wanted to bless anyone - I will be gladly, very gladly to bless that person with ... LOVE!!! heee, Happy Birthday Ping!

Psalms Cake

I found a cake design with this tree and a verse from Psalms 1:3, which I felt that it's for our Pastor Tim and our dear Cell leader - Yong De, they shared the same birthday :D

Haha, I am no 'super woman' but was really quite tired after doing the other 2 cakes and cuppies - it was nearly 6.20pm when I started to bake the carrot cake., after it was completely cooled - I started to work on it at about 10pm - 12.30am.

When I thought I was almost done, I found that I was not satisfied with it.

It was initially a 2D tree and plain without the lambs .. I was too tired but just need to rest , however I was able to wake up at 4.30am to re-do the tree and moulded the lambs .. and was quite pleased with it, it was all God' grace and strength given to me to be able to complete it.

The cake was distributed and finished - Praise God that they all love it ..

A blessed birthday to our dearest Pastor and Bro Yong De .. many thanks to you and we are all so blessed to be under your love and care, may God bless both of you on your special day. Hallelujah!

Math theme cake

Imelda also wanted to have a smaller cake for her eldest boy Michael, theme is Math .. and I find that it's interesting to do this theme , went to search for ideas and found this design .. love it !! heeee

Little Caelen's caterpillar

Selena said that little Caelen likes that 'Very hungry Caterpillar' story, so she wanted to
have a caterpillar sitting on the cake ., with his name on it and butterflies, flowers in a
garden theme for his 1st Birthday Cake.

I used 1 x 6" and 1 x 8" square cake pans to cut the shape out for this moist cocholate cake.

Present Cake

Mike wanted to bless his colleague in his prayer group, so there is no reason for me not to do it, although I am really very very busy :D - as she is also my sis in Christ whom had been so faithfully praying with the others in the office with my hubby.

Mummy's Little Cosy House

Tonight will be having a family dinner with my mum .., had been cracking my brain what to make for her birthday, and..hahahahaha , I always wish to be able to give her a nice home to do her own gardening on earth, but till now - I couldn't ..heeeeeeeeee , so what I can do now - give her my little dream house for the time being .

A cake for my cell members

It is such a blessing and joyful thing to be able to do a small contribution by baking cakes for all my cell members' special occasions especially their birthdays. Sis Peggy was so delighted to see the cake, Bro Freddy was more composed . hahaha , I love our cell .. and so glad that Ps Tim and Sis Joanne were back from their India mission trip to join us again ...

This morning, Mike suddenly asked me if I will be making a cake for Bro Freddy and Sis Peggy. I was shocked .. errrrr, not prepared lah - so after confirming with YongDe .. he has the same intention too, so I got to rush. I told Mike that I may not be able to come up with anything too fanciful as I have many cakes / cuppies to
do in these few days, so I will make something simple for this lovely siblings in our cell group.

I plucked up my courage and made this carrot cake, it was so soft and moist, used some excess batter to make into cupcakes - just to taste the texture .. and am really very satisfied with it.

I cut the cake into half and spread some white cocholate cream cheese frosting.





The interior of the cupcake .. very soft .. very moist ... very yummy! heeeeee

haha., don't mistaken .. I didn't make 2 cakes, the one on the right is my very humble cake - it's a vanilla sponge with 1 layer of mango freshcream filling and another layer with cherry filling .

This is my humble looking cake !! Though cant compare to the exquisite cake, but it's just something from my heart

BonVoyage Cake for Pastor Tim

Baked a durian cake for Pastor Tim as he and Sister Joanne will be going for a missionary trip to India for 3 weeks. We cut the cake at the airport to share with our other church friends and really glad to know that they love the cake.
