Mike's family's friend's daughter asked if i could help her to bake a cake for her very good friend who's just expecting another bb, she wanted a simple cake that is small and sweet (no pink/purplish) but a feel of warm and family-ish theme cake for her birthday ^^

Sabrina told me that baby Charlene shares the same birthday as daddy, so I made a daddy with a little gal on the cake with a lovely cake design, not forgetting to have some colourful balloons as she particularly likes them at this moment :D

Little Charles will be celebrating his 3rd Birthday together with bb Charlene too, so Sabrina also requested for a separate cake for him too

Little Meagan's Polar Bears

Pau Ling told me that little Meagan loves to bathe, so she specially requested for a baby gal to sit in the bath tub with some of her favourite polar bear toys and 2 cute mushroom people in a garden environment ... for her 1st Birthday cake.

Geraldine is one of the prayer group members in my hubby - Michael's office, as usual he always want to bless them on their birthdays and requested me to bake and decorate a cake for her.

1st Anniversary Cake for Japanese Fellowship

The Cornerstone Japanese Fellowship was launched in April 2008, Mike asked me to bake a cake to mark it's First Anniversay.

He gave me the theme of Japanese men and women coming together to fellowship, to hear the word of God and know that there are people in this country who cares for their well beings. What could be better than seeing them on their kneess, feeding on the Word of God back in their land surrounded by cherry blossoms.

I was so happy to see Lee Ling jumping with joy when she saw the cake ( heee .. not really jumping so high .. but from her movement and reaction, she was so happy which really brighten up my day ) .. all the tireness and pain really worth it. Heeee .. why 'pain' ? my left arm was in pain for the whole day/night when I was decorating the cakes could be due to 'rheumatism' .. was praying to the Lord to allow me to finish the cakes :D .. and yes HE did !

Karen Tan wanted an Elmo theme cake with some animals that her little Kayvan likes, I was trying to place some of those farm animals with the jungle type .. but somehow they just couldn't fit in .. until I rememberd KH did 1 or 2 cakes with 2D train on the cake side, so I decided to put the 2 farm animals on the train .. hmmmm, love the final result :D

Karen is such a nice lady whom didn't specify for any special requirements except Elmo which little Kayvan loves as he has one talking Elmo, and the animals, so I decided to make this which hopes that he can recognise them ... hahaha

Josephine told me that Joie has so many ideas for her 8th Birthday cake, and she wanted to have she and 3 other friends playing musical instruments on a castle cake, with she as the main star character playing her favourite guitar.

Chwee Leng emailed to me that she wanted to have 3 cakes, this was for her hubby but it meant to be a surprise to I have to cover the cake when I hand it over to her :D

Steven always worship during their cell group meeting, so she specially requested me to put one the these 2 songs that he likes - 'Wonderful Saviour' & 'How great is our God' on the cake.

I really hope that Steven got the surprise from his dearest wife ;)

Sharon Yio wanted to have a cake with her little sweetie - Elise with her favourite 'Star' .. with colourful picture books around her , both will be going out for a picnic trip.

Bottom tier will be a farm garden with some playful but cheeful animals.

A birthday cake for Carol

It's my sons' dearest godma's birthday today .. I've made a cake for her to celebrate with her dearest hubby .. her favourite colour is green and she loves flowers .., this is different from the flower cake that I baked for her last year .

I said a birthday prayer for my dearest Carol and asked the Lord to bless this wonderful occasion with love and happiness., I prayed for you to have a year of great dreams coming true .. Amen!

It's a small 4" Low Fat Coffee Yoghurt Butter Cake, since she is trying to reduce some weight before CNY - then she can eat without much guilt .. hahahahaha :D

Mandy told me that she wanted to have many cherries and a little boy because little Basil's infant care ("Cheery Infant & Children Care" ) - sounds like cherry .. so made little trees with cherries , made also 2 colourful and cheerful caterpillars and a little sketch stickman cheery sunshine which I saw it somewhere in the internet . ;D

My cake

I was so busy over the past few days, when Mike came to me and gave me 3 options , hahaha


He said he will :
(1) Buy a cake
(2) Bake and decorate the cake by himself
(3) I will bake and decorate it


I told him that I don't need a cake as I don't wish to celebrate .. but he said that the boys will be happy to bless me .. so I said ok, I wil do it but a simple one, but I didn't know that he told YongDe that I will bring the cake to church for our cell members to bless me. So I was left with no choice but to decorate it, but Mike still insist to make me a YELLOW ROSE - hahaha .. he was disappointed that he can't make many roses for my cake .. heee

Bear in Garden

Mike wanted me to bake a small cake to bless his japanese colleague, Ito San's wife - Hiroko .. they are a very nice couple whom gave us a nice japanese lunch treat several months ago.

I like this cake design and decided to make for her, as Japanese will surely loves flowers .., heeee

Janice Wong wanted this boy with bear figurine, again without much requirements - she just wanted something cute for this theme .. so I thought, maybe this design will delight her and baby ??? heeeeee
