Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for CJ

Lara Valenciano told me that this will be their darling son's 1st birthday party in Singapore, so she and her hubby wanted something beautiful for him, and requested for a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme. Lara showed me a cake picture and wanted the cake design to be something similar to it., hope that I didn't dissapoint her :D

My dearest brother-in-law, David asked if I can bake a cake for his buddy whom owns a spectacle shop and likes nice clothings. He suggested to have colourful specs around him and a wardrobe on a small cake .. :D

Blessed Chinese New Year

I didn't make any cookies for sales this year as I really need a good rest after weeks busy with cakes .., however .. I still managed to find time to bake cookies for our families and my boys' darling godma ..

I've made another cake design for my mother-in-law but didn't manage to take a nicer photo with such presentation .. so will just use these two to wish all a Blessed New Year !!

I was clueless and not too sure how to mold them .. so I went to do a research, and noted that they were so different. So really no choice but to base on what I had to mold.

I was really busy on Thursday too, haha - as usual, need to tidy the house and to cook fried prawn noodle for cell group meeting, but I know that Mike will definitely like to blessed by our cell members .. so made this coffee butter cake quite last minute and really ran out of idea as to how to decorate it .. , and again - chose a very simple design for him :D

A birthday cake for Carol

It's my sons' dearest godma's birthday today .. I've made a cake for her to celebrate with her dearest hubby .. her favourite colour is green and she loves flowers .., this is different from the flower cake that I baked for her last year .

I said a birthday prayer for my dearest Carol and asked the Lord to bless this wonderful occasion with love and happiness., I prayed for you to have a year of great dreams coming true .. Amen!

It's a small 4" Low Fat Coffee Yoghurt Butter Cake, since she is trying to reduce some weight before CNY - then she can eat without much guilt .. hahahahaha :D

Combined Birthday Cake

My hubby - Mike and 2 of his colleagues' birthday are in January, both are also in their prayer group ... so when he asked if I could bake them a cake to bless all , although it's another last minute arrangement - - - - - - - hmmmmmmmmmmmm .. well ..... I'll still have to do it, .. hahaha

Mike is a more serious person so I 'dare' not mould anything not relevant or anything too kiddish, after doing some research - I've settled down with this design because I don't have much time to decorate and mould., feedback from his colleagues that they like the design as it was simple and nice .. they love the cake too , Praise the Lord!

Mike had actually wanted me to write ( Gal. 6:9 ) on the little bible but it was too long, so he had to give me another verse which was ( John 14:14 ) ' If you ask anything in My name, I will do it ' ..

I pray for a year of growth and wisdom and deep fulfillment and thank God for the way Michael, Mary and Jasmine to enrich the lives of others through all you do and say .. Amen!

Sharon Yeo again gave me a challenging job - at least to me, it is ! hahahahha ..

This time, she told me that her hubby wanted the cake to carve like Fireman Sam's fire engine and to have Sam with the vehicle .. I looked at the picture she sent me, and with a bit of confidence - I told her that I may be able to do it .. and, Praise God .. hmmmmmmmmm , looks ok lah .. hahaha

Burger Boy for Previn

Our dear church friends, Daniel & Angie asked if I could bake a cake for their youngest son - Previn whom is also our sons' close friend in church, they are one of those whom I will try not to disspoint them .. so happily I agreed :D

Previn didn't request any designs which really made me headache .. hahahahaha !! , only request was - the cake must be coffee flavour !!

I had been thinking for days on the design until we went to buy burgers from MOS burger and saw the hp strap .. yes !! Burger Cake !

Initially I wanted to make the burger as per MOS' hp strap .. but I had been eyeing on Su's burger cake for so long .. finally - heeeeeeeeeee ., I have the chance to try to make one .. yeah !!

End result was - I saw Previn carrying his cake with a broad smile on his face and a sms message from him that the cake was very nice .., it was a relief to me as Angie told me that he has a 'fussy' tastebud .. hahahahaha

HueYiz likes the playground theme and wanted the trees and mushroom as in Joseph's cake, the colour theme as in Rafael's for her darling YiHong, but instead of the normal 'attire' that Pooh dressed - she requested me to mould baby's favourite toy Pooh which wears a blue ... pyjamas .. (?) heeeeeeee . but it looks cute !!
