A cake for my cell members

It is such a blessing and joyful thing to be able to do a small contribution by baking cakes for all my cell members' special occasions especially their birthdays. Sis Peggy was so delighted to see the cake, Bro Freddy was more composed . hahaha , I love our cell .. and so glad that Ps Tim and Sis Joanne were back from their India mission trip to join us again ...

This morning, Mike suddenly asked me if I will be making a cake for Bro Freddy and Sis Peggy. I was shocked .. errrrr, not prepared lah - so after confirming with YongDe .. he has the same intention too, so I got to rush. I told Mike that I may not be able to come up with anything too fanciful as I have many cakes / cuppies to
do in these few days, so I will make something simple for this lovely siblings in our cell group.

I plucked up my courage and made this carrot cake, it was so soft and moist, used some excess batter to make into cupcakes - just to taste the texture .. and am really very satisfied with it.

I cut the cake into half and spread some white cocholate cream cheese frosting.





The interior of the cupcake .. very soft .. very moist ... very yummy! heeeeee

I don't have a bootie cutter, so just look at the photo and draw the template out .. not too close to the bootie i saw , but quite close .. will practise more ..

Mickey Mouse Toppers

I was very worried if I can mould them, as I know - Mickey is not easy to make (at least for me )., especially couldn't get the feel of it, regretted a bit as I was worried that I can't make them .. so I've done my best to get his character as close as possible.

Aloysius wanted me to accept it as he loves the little boy, he will be celebrating his 1st birthday next saturday.

Request to make 12 pcs of 2D Mickeys and 1 pc of 3D Mickey ..

Pooh & Frenz

I have this order requested for Pooh theme which I love to make for quite some time, but Aloy and Aleo don't like these cutey cartoon figurines.

Got to make in advance as the mood was right, otherwise I don't think I could do them if it is too rushing .. ;)







Just made the figurines, will add in little accessories later .. and 10 more pcs of
other birthday items related to the theme

Ballet Fairy Birthday Cake

The cake is done! I am worried that the black forest cake won't taste as nice because now it can't be chilled now with all the fondant figurines on it.

Hopefully the little birthday gal will be happy to see it .. Praise God!





Florence requested for a 1.5kg cake, but after weighing the cake, I was saddened as it was only 1kg, so immediately Glad's cuppy princessess came to rescue me .. hahaha, little Jess loves princess, so I made another 6 princesses as she is SIX today!!



She also requested for decorated cookies to give to the little guests .., theme is ballet shoes and hello kitties .. I don't have the HK cutters, so these are painfully hand-cut by me .. again, really hope that they like them .. Praise God!

Just completed the little fairy, as the main topper on a Black Forest Cake .. but today's weather .. hmmmmmmmmmm.,not a day for sugar paste work neh !!! :(

It was such a blessing to bless our cell leader's lovely wife - Wee Leng .. to bake her a cake - it was a Lemon Poppy Seed Yoghurt Pound Cake with dried Cranberries, love the aroma of the cake when it was still in the oven .. smell heavenly !!

I woke up at 5am this morning to do the cake deco .. took me 2 hours+ to assemble the cake ... Praise the Lord that the timing was just right.

We brought to our church this morning BUT !!! met them on our way in , haha .. no surprise for her, so got to show it to her .. so happy to see her surprised expression, she loves the cake !
